We Are Stardust has been selected for the Noordelijk Film Festival in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, where it screens in the Noordse Focus (Nordic Focus) programme. Two screenings: Thursday 5 November at 14:00 at Slieker Film (Groene Zaal) and Sunday 8 November at 12:00 at De Harmonie (Bovenzaal). Tickets are on sale now.

We Are Stardust has won the first ever ZFF Science Award at the 22nd Zurich Film Festival. The new award brings science and cinema together, honouring films that open up a genuine field of knowledge and invite audiences to look closer. We Are Stardust was chosen from a shortlist of six films exploring entomology, glaciology, marine biology, robotics, longevity and micrometeorites, by a jury of Dr. Mirko Bischofberger (Science Studios), Prof. Dr. Thomas Michaels (ETH Zurich) and Prof. Nicola Spaldin (ETH Zurich, Vice President of the European Research Council). The winners were announced on Saturday 3 October.

Alongside films exploring entomology, glaciology, marine biology, robotics and longevity, We Are Stardust represents the science of micrometeorites. We Are Stardust Nominated for PRIX EUROPA 2026
We Are Stardust has been nominated in the Video Documentary category at PRIX EUROPA 2026, Europe's leading cross-media awards for broadcast and online productions. The film was selected from more than 300 documentaries submitted from across the continent. PRIX EUROPA opens on 11 October at the Haus des Rundfunks in Berlin, with the winners announced at the Awards Ceremony on Friday 16 October 2026.
